2DWorld
A downloadable project for Windows
A first project reborn
2DWorld is a project I started to make with Unity 4.3 recently launched, it was my first project ever made with Unity. With the launch of Unity 5 I remade the project entirely making it a test enviroment for everything I learn with the pretext of a physics sandbox game. It was developed with Android in mind but it has support for Windows. But at the end of 2019... I lost the code. But don't worry because if you are reading this is because I found the code recently (December 2020) and I updated it to Unity 2020.1 to release to the public and never update it again. Show my first ever project made in Unity to the public it's something... Cool? But it's full of bugs and glitches and things bad made because I only updated some codes from JS to C# and removed some things because copyright things haha...
Things I learned from making 2DWorld
- Starting with Unity
- C# basics
- Making a localization system
- Using internet to download and show text
- Developing for Android with Unity
- Physics basics with Unity
- Developing 3D games (yes, 2DWorld is a 3D game, ironic).
- How NOT make a game.
About pricing
The game is free since it's just a project I made for fun. But if you want you can donate so I can make more projects and better (and better publishing too).
